Still & Barrel, a new bar in uptown Phoenix, opened in February and focuses on bourbon and whiskey. The bar is the latest creation of Sheldon Knapp and Dennis Shaw, who also run Phoenix City Grille. The menu is filled with whiskey and bourbon-based cocktails and flights, and the bar is designed for a classy cocktail experience. The drinks include an Old Fashioned ($18) and the Hippies & Cowboys ($20). However, for dinner, don't skip the dinner menu. Despite being small, Still & Barrel serves well-stocked and often bolstered by seasonal specials.
