Florence inmate convicted of 2008 double stabbing under investigation for prison attack

A man serving time for a 2008 double stabbing is under investigation for stabbing a Kentucky State Penitentiary lieutenant, Lieutenant Zabulon Pierre, who was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital. Noakes was convicted of stabbing and murdering Sharon Gette and her mother. The Kentucky State Police are investigating the incident and will present their findings to the Lyon County Grand Jury.
