Medina County Indivisible plans Earth Day celebration April 22

Medina County Indivisible is planning a family-friendly Earth Day rally on Medina Square on April 22, in partnership with EarthDay.org. The rally will be held at 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Speaker John Caruso from the American Chestnut Foundation will speak about the restoration of the American chestnut tree in its native habitat. Other speakers include poet Laura Grace Weldon, retired park ranger, and high school students from Medina. There will also be activities such as wildflower pollinator seeds and Earth Day buttons. The group plans to participate in other events consistent with their values.
