UCLA's Lauren Betts prevented a potential upset in a Women's Final Four semifinal match against Texas, where Texas' Madison Booker was driving towards the basket with a layup attempt. Betts blocked the shot, which led to a 51-44 victory for UCLA, but Booker failed to score and neither team did in the final 20 seconds. The victory secured UCLA's place in the championship game against South Carolina, where they will face South Carolina. Despite an injury to Betts' head, she had an impressive double-double, finishing with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocks, making her the first player to achieve such a feat in a Final Four men's or women's game since Kentucky's Anthony Davis in 2012.
