iOS 27 will drop support for four iPhone models, says leaker

Apple's upcoming iOS 27 software update, set to be unveiled on June 8 at WWDC, could potentially drop support for four iPhone models. The leaker, Instant Digital, posted a list of all iOS 27-supported iPhone models, which are missing four models that can run iOS 26. The new update will require an iPhone 12 or later, while while iOS 26 supported the second-gen iPhone SE 3 or later. This makes it two years since Apple has dropped several iPhone models from its major iOS update.
