President Donald Trump has endorsed Rep. Kevin Hern (R-Okla) for the position he would like to replace Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R) in the Senate. Hern, who recently launched a campaign to succeed Mullin, was the first candidate to formally announce a campaign. The president praised Hern as a "true friend of MAGA" and assured Hern that he would never let him down. The seat will not be permanently filled until after the November election, but Oklahoma law allows Gov. Kevin Stitt to temporarily serve until then.
