Emet Sheehan, the Dodgers' fifth starter for the season, seems to be in line for the starting spot when the season begins next week. Despite a disappointing Cactus League start and a lack of performance overall, Sheerhan appears to have a strong contender for the position. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts has not yet named a fifth starter, but said the situation is more "nuanced" than one being the fifth and the other the sixth starter. Centerfielder Andy Pages was named as the "pick to click" for 2026, while Roberts has previously offered Teoscar Hernandez as his "pick" to click", a player who is expected to perform well in spring training.
