The Minnesota Wild ended their four-game losing streak against non-playoff teams with a 2-1 overtime victory over the Dallas Stars. Vladimir Tarasenko scored the winning goal in 3-on-3 overtime, making Filip Gustavsson the only player to secure a win for the Wild. Despite being without key players Kirill Kaprizov and Joel Eriksson Ek, the Wild managed to secure their second victory in their past six games. The game was also marked by a video tribute to captain Jared Spurgeon for his 1,000th game. The Wild's playoff matchup with the Stars remains uncertain with 11 games left in the regular season.
