The Australian Senate Committee is investigating why hundreds of fake photos of One Nation leader Pauline Hanson were posted online, showing her supposedly recovering from cancer or donating cheques to children. Anthropic has accused hackers and other cyber actors of using AI to perpetrate fraud, scams, and extortion. The posts were found in hundreds of different locations across the globe.
