Joe Kent Gets Standing Ovation At First Public Event Since Resignation

Joe Kent, former director of the National Counterterrorism Center and Tulsi Gabbard's number two, received a standing ovation at the Catholic Prayer for America Gala in Washington, D.C. This was his first public event since his resignation from the Trump Administration over the Iran War. Since his departure, Kent has been accused of being a leaker, traitor, and antisemite. He argues that Iran posed no clear and imminent threat to the US and that the war started due to pressure from Israel. The event was organized by Catholics for Catholics, a conservative non-profit founded in 2022.
