Katherine Peel, a 9-year-old girl from Texas, wrote a five-star review of a bakery for her school newspaper and has since been invited to help the restaurant, la Madeleine, design a new kids' menu. The bakery and café chain, founded over 40 years ago, has over 80 locations across the United States and has locations in Georgia, Kentucky, Florida, Louisiana, Maryland, and Oklahoma. Katherine Peel, who was praised for her reviews, was also invited to collaborate on the design of the new children' menu and suggested introducing a stuffed croissant for children and bringing back the chicken pesto pasta and adding a savory crepe.
