Lola's Bistro in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, has been introduced as a new French bistro from Rick Doody. The restaurant, which has been associated with the Forward Hospitality group for 40 years, elevates French classics with a cast of supporting players. The dining room, which was previously described as a rustic, one-room saloon, was transformed into an idealized version of the Rive Gauche. The wooden bar and backbar runs nearly the length of the main room and is flanked by posh banquettes and cozy nooks. The steak tartare ($22), moules frites ($19), and the fish special ($27), were praised for their outstanding dishes. The bar and restaurant walk-ins are also an ideal spot to enjoy an indulgent sit down.
