McConnell relocates planes ahead of severe weather threat

For the second time this month and third consecutive year, McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita, Kansas, is taking precautionary action ahead of potential severe weather. The base has announced plans to relocate aircraft from its base to other military bases across the country. The remaining aircraft undergoing maintenance are being stored in storage.
