The wind advisory for Las Vegas has expired at 5am, but winds continue to rise, with gusts reaching upwards of 40 mph in some spots. The strongest winds are expected to be from Laughlin, Kingman and Bullhead City, where north winds of 20-30 mph are expected. Despite this, a cold front has swept across the forecast area, bringing in some snowfall. Despite the strong winds, temperatures are below normal, with temperatures expected to drop to the upper 60’s and low 70’s by mid-day, but they will gradually warm up to 90F. The weather pattern is expected to remain unsettled as low pressure spins off the CA coast providing very slight snowfall chances.
