Sophomore guard Jayde Wyett, who has developed into a top-notch player, led Providence with 15 points in a 46-40 loss to Wheaton Academy in a Class 3A Hinsdale South Sectional semifinal in Darien. Senior guard Cade Styrsky and Reece Kras also contributed significantly to the scoreline. Despite a difficult season for Providence, the team's coach Tim Trendel believes Wyett has a high ceiling and a promising future. The team's Cinderella postseason ended with a win over Wheaton St. Francis. Wyett plans to work harder on his game this summer with the D1 Jets Illinois AAU team.
