An investigation by the Connecticut inspector general has revealed that an ambulance was delayed 10 minutes longer due to police insistence on transporting Officer Erin Perrotta, who was crying and having an anxiety attack, to the hospital. The state has ruled the shooting of Perrotoan to be justified. The investigation also revealed that a second ambulance was brought in for Perrott.
