Police have arrested two men in connection with an assault at a Lincoln bus stop in January, including 24-year-old Sterling James, the man accused of murdering a Stromsburg couple and their unborn child. James is currently being held on suspicion of murder, second-degree assault and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony. On Monday, 41-year old William Hill was arrested on suspicion for assault and other charges. The victim, a 50-year Lincoln man, was taken to the hospital with broken ribs, a laceration to the head, and severe swelling and bruising. Police believe James knew the victim through their workplace and chose to assault him due to his conviction of sexual assault against a minor in 2008.
