Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt discusses Sen. Mullin’s appointment in Washington

Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt has confirmed that he has met with President Donald Trump in Washington, DC, regarding who he will appoint to replace Sen. Markwayne Mullin. Stitt's appointment has not yet been confirmed by the United States Senate. If Mullin is confirmed as SECRETARY of the Department of Humanitarian Affairs, Stitt will have 30 days left to fill the vacant seat. The governor is also considering a potential replacement for Mullin if he is confirmed.
