Abuse of power against Tish James: Bill Pulte’s third effort to go after N.Y. AG must fail

Bill Pulte, the director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, has been trying to frame New York Attorney General Tish James for a noncrime of mortgage fraud. This is Pultes' third attempt to indict James in Virginia, where she owns a house used by her niece. He is now pushing for indictments in Chicago and Miami, using government influence. This tactic has been used by authoritarian leaders from Russia to make an example out of perceived enemies. Pulteus is also urging federal prosecutors in Illinois and Florida to investigate representations James made to insurance companies based in those states.
