College basketball roster tracker: Notre Dame adds former Penn star, while Illinois’ Ty Rodgers moves on

The college basketball transfer portal opened a day after the NCAA Division I men’s basketball championship. Notre Dame has added former Penn star, Ty Rodgers, to its ranks. Roberts, a 6-5 wing from Arlington Heights, averaged 16.9 points, 2.3 assists and 3.9 rebounds during a second-team All-Ivy League season in 2025-26. This will be Roberts' fourth college team. Rodgers, a redshirt junior, didn't play for the last two seasons for the Illini and missed last season due to a knee injury. Meanwhile, Mount St. Mary’’ forward Luke McEldon has committed to Northwestern. Tomislav and Zvonimir Ivišić and Jake Davis are set to return to Illinois next season.
