Flames Leap From Georgia Fire as Dozens of Homes Lost, Hundreds at Risk

The destructive wildfire in south Georgia has destroyed dozens of homes and left hundreds of people at risk. The Brantley Highway 82 Fire has scorched at least 4,000 acres and has left around 1,000 homes in danger. At least 54 structures have been damaged or destroyed in the area.
