Former Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin is set to campaign in Lynchburg on April 11 alongside Republican Congressman John McGuire and Republican members of the General Assembly. Meanwhile, U.S. Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson will host a fundraiser for Virginians for Fair Maps, the main campaign opposing redistricting in Virginia. Despite these efforts, professor Rich Meagher believes that the involvement of these two politicians won't significantly impact the race.
