‘Adolescence’ Still Dominating Awards Season With Multiple BAFTA TV Nominations

Netflix series 'Adolescence', starring Owen Cooper as a teenager arrested for the murder of a female classmate, has received multiple BAFTA TV Nominations. The show, which won nine Emmys last September, has also won numerous awards on both sides of the Atlantic, including at the Actors Awards, Critics’ Choice Awards, Independent Spirit Awards, Golden Globes, Broadcasting Press Guild Awards and Royal Television Society Programme Awards. Other nominees include “I Fought The Law,” “Trespasses” and “What It Feels Like For A Girl” in the limited drama categories. The series has also received several craft awards, including for directing, photography and lighting, casting, sound and lighting. The BAFTA Television Awards will take place in London on May 10, hosted by Greg Davies.
