Venezuela’s World Baseball Classic win had Yankees’ Oswaldo Cabrera in tears

Yankees' utilityman, Oswaldo Cabrera, celebrated Venezuela's victory in the World Baseball Classic with a watch party at his Tampa residence. Cabrera, born in the Venezuelan city of Guarenas, said his mom was responsible for filming the gathering, but she obscured her camera lens with her finger. The Venezuelan team, which he described as underestimated due to its lack of star power, also expressed pride at the win. Cabrera also mentioned that the WBC championship "means everything" for Venezuela, as his country doesn't excel at many other sports. He also expressed admiration for his former teammate, Gleyber Torres, who played for the Venezuelan team.
