The MacBook Neo is reportedly selling well, with online orders of the cheapest MacBook evah set for April 7 to 14. The product is described as being cheap, repairable, and does well in single-core performance. However, it is also supported by Apple. This has caused consternation in the PC industry, as PC hardware makers struggle to explain their value proposition. The Macs are undercutting a PC category on price, making it difficult for them to compete at the low end of the portable market.
