A new Miami City Hall is planned as part of the massive Miami Freedom Park development near Miami International Airport. The proposed administration building would rise eight stories on city-owned land and include approximately 257,000 square feet of office space dedicated to government operations. The move would replace the city's current administrative offices at the Miami Riverside Center, which officials declared "functionally obsolete" in 2015. Construction is set to begin in the first quarter of 2025 and move-in date is late 2027.
