San Jose Earthquakes’ historic run continues as they beat Austin FC 5-1

The San Jose Earthquakes have achieved their best start in club history with a 5-1 victory over Austin FC. Right back Jack Jasinski and star signee Timo Werner scored in the first career MLS start, while three more goals were added after the 83rd minute. The Quakes (8-1-0, 24 points) now have the best record in MLS. Despite falling behind in the ninth minute, the team's only goal was scored by captain Ronaldo Vieira. The team's next game will be against St. Louis City SC, the only other team in MLS history to start with five consecutive road wins.
