Pittsburgh's newest entertainment venue, Citizens Live at the Wylie, will host its first show on Oct. 2. The venue, which opened in 2010, is the first large entertainment venue to open in the city since Stage AE opened. The first show will feature Wiz Khalifa, Styx, Chelsea Handler, Boyz II Men, Sting, and local dance parties Slappers N Bangers and Union. The 4,000-seat venue includes floor and balcony options and features Asian-inspired cuisine and cocktails. The new venue is attracting artists who have never headlined a show in Pittsburgh. The completion of this fall will mark the second success in the Lower Hill redevelopment effort.
