US law firm Troutman Pepper has agreed to settle a bias lawsuit by fired Black lawyer Gita Sankano, who alleges she was fired in November 2023 in retaliation for filing an internal discrimination complaint against a partner who allegedly demeaned and demoralized her due to her race.
