The Tucson Police Department has confirmed that 42-year-old motorcyclist, Colby Matthew Sweet, was killed in a crash near Golf Links and Wilmot on May 1. The police believe Sweet was traveling well above the posted 40 mph speed limit and was unaware of work zone signage near the intersection of Calle Polar. The investigation is ongoing and no charges have been issued.
