Baxter County Sheriff to be decided Today in runoff election

The future of the Baxter County Sheriff’s department will be decided in the Republican Preferential Primary runoff election. Voters will choose between Brian Davis and Mark Hollingsworth, who received the most votes in the March 3 Primary. The winner will proceed as the Republican nominee for the November election. The other runoff ballot includes the statewide Republican primary for Arkansas Secretary of State between Bryan Norris and State Sen. Kim Hammer, who will face Democrat Kelly Grappe in the general election.
