Several people are facing charges following copper wire thefts at solar farms in Richmond County, North Carolina. The suspects are linked to the thefts at a solar farm in Rockingham. Roger Gathings and Christopher Heflin are charged with felony conspiracy to commit larceny of nonferrous metals and felony possession of stolen property. They are also facing additional charges of Injuring an Energy Facility and First-degree Trespass to Infrastructure. The sheriff's office expects further arrests.
