Flagler County K9 tracks, bites suspect after high-speed chase in stolen vehicle

A man was arrested for fleeing a traffic stop in a stolen vehicle, according to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office. The deputy located the vehicle after it ran two stop signs while traveling at 92 mph in a 30 mph zone. During the high-speed chase, the driver crashed the truck and became stuck in a ditch near the roadway. The driver, James Myers, was arrested and charged with grand theft of a motor vehicle, eluding, driving while his license is suspended, resisting arrest without violence, and reckless driving.
