Hawaii Gov. Josh Green has spoken to the media for the first time since he asked Lt. Gov. Sylvia Luke to go on leave during a bribery investigation. Green said he asked Attorney General Anne Lopez to warn him if Luke might face serious charges. Green expressed surprise at the situation, but questioned whether Luke would have been reelected anyway. He also expressed disappointment at not having charges and public airing of evidence against Luke.
