A man drove into Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport's Evans Terminal on Friday morning, causing panic among passengers. The driver, a 67-year-old man, was unarmed and appeared disoriented, telling officers he was "there to meet Tom Cruise and save his dad." This is the second time a car has driven into the airport in four months. Airport officials are working on a permanent barrier solution after both incidents. The Airport Authority is currently in the design phase of a permanent barricade system.
