INXS' Garry Gary Beers has been nominated for the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame, 21 years after the Australian band was initially eligible. Despite the long wait, Beers expressed pride over the recognition. The band, formed in 1977, sold over 50 million records worldwide and had five top 20 albums on the Billboard 200 and a No. 1 on the Hot 100 with "Need You Tonight". They are one of 10 first-time nominees on the Rock Hall ballot, alongside Phil Collins, Iron Maiden and Pink. Fans have until April 3 to cast votes on the rock hall, after which the Class of 2026 will be unveiled.
