After a warm start to the week, temperatures will begin to cool down, with temperatures expected to range from the 60s to the 80s. However, a cold front will bring unsettled conditions, with a better chance for isolated storms later in the evening. These storms will be capable of damaging wind gusts and large hail, and the potential for a tornado is possible. Despite this, isolated storms continue to occur throughout the night. The front will continue to hover over the day, creating a wide range of temperatures. There is a greater risk for strong to severe storms late in the afternoon, with the strongest storms expected to be centered around and east of the Kansas Turnpike.
