Trash truck load catches fire in Albuquerque

Bernalillo County Fire Rescue (BCFR) responded to a fire that started out of a trash truck in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The driver dumped the trash before it could spread to the truck. BCFR has warned against disposing of hot ashes or charcoal, and advised people to recycle lithium-ion batteries from phones, tools, toys or vapes at an approved site. The agency also warned against using pool chemicals or paint in the trash.
