Late winter storm could drop up to a foot of snow in Milwaukee this weekend

A late winter storm is expected to hit central and southern Wisconsin, potentially leading to over a foot of snowfall in some areas. The snowfall will impact central and eastern Wisconsin, but it is unclear which areas will be hit hardest. The heaviest snowfall is expected on Sunday. Forecasters are most confident central Wisconsin will see significant accumulations of up to a foot. The storm could impact the Green Bay area and Milwaukee, with potential accumulations reaching as high as 12 to 18 inches. The weather forecast is not out of the question that one of the heaviest snowfalls of the season could occur.
