The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has dropped charges against New England Patriots defensive lineman Christian Barmore, stating that the case is no longer viable. The charges stem from an alleged assault and battery incident in August 2025, which occurred after Barmores became angry with a woman, the mother of his child, after an air conditioner was set to set at 70 degrees instead of 68. The woman did not press charges at the time, and a criminal complaint against BarmORE was issued on Dec. 16. The incident occurred shortly after Bormore's scheduled arraignment was postponed after the Patriots' Super Bowl 60 appearance.
