A large temperature split is expected across the region on Sunday, with temperatures reaching the mid and upper 60s and near 80s before a front drops in from the north. The southerly wind will return, allowing temperatures to rise steadily throughout the day. Showers and thunderstorms are possible, but temperatures will drop to near mid-50s and temperatures will remain near the mid-60s. The next front will be late Thursday, with another opportunity for showers and storms, followed by colder temperatures.
