Cam Young, a 29-year-old Westchester native, is currently ranked No. 3 in the world rankings and is one of the favorites to win his first career major championship at the PGA Championship. Young, who grew up playing at Sleepy Hollow Country Club under his father and club pro, David, finished second seven times before breaking through with his first professional victory at the 2025 Wyndham Championship. Despite these successes, Young has not forgotten his struggles and credits his time on the Tour to make him a better golfer. This major championship is a special one for his family as his father spent two decades as the head pro at the club. Young also had a nine-hole practice round with Chris Gabriele, who worked as an assistant for David Young.
