The IDF has targeted Hezbollah sites in Lebanon, killing two senior Hezbollah commanders and damaging dozens of sites across the country. Three officers and six soldiers were injured in two separate incidents over the past 24 hours. The military also targeted weapons depots, launchers, and military infrastructure in an effort to degrade Hezbollah's operational capabilities. The strikes were carried out from both air and sea in support of ground troops in the area. The incidents occurred amid ongoing Israeli military operations against Hezbollah, where troops have faced repeated attacks including anti-tank fire and rocket barrages. The IDF plans to occupy southern Lebanon up to the Litani River to create a "defensive buffer," outlining its intention to seize territory amounting to nearly a tenth of Lebanon.
