A man, 41-year-old Ricardo Otero, was arrested after driving a stolen vehicle to a court appearance for a separate auto theft case in Salinas, California. The officers from the Multi-Agency Detail Combating Auto Theft (MADCAT) task force spotted him driving a vehicle that had been reported stolen out of San Jose. He was taken into custody and charged with multiple counts including unlawful driving or taking of a vehicle, committing a felony while released on bail or his own recognizance, and driving with a suspended license.
