The work of repairing a damaged drainage pipe on the M1 in Bedfordshire has not been completed yet, eight weeks after the issue was first discovered. The closure was placed between junction 12 at Toddington and junction 13 for Brogborough on 27 January. National Highways has stated that the concrete barrier supports had been weakened by the issue. However, it is uncertain that significant work will be completed without reinstating the lane closures.
