Transfer Ean Hamric trying to push Brady Davidson, Jalen Macon for NIU starting QB job

Ean Hamric, a redshirt senior quarterback from the University of Charleston, is competing with Brady Davidson and Jalen Macon for the starting QB position at NIU. Hamric chose NIU after seeing the success of former teammate Chavon Wright last year. Former head coach Quinn Sanders remains on staff as quarterbacks coach under interim head coach Rob Harley. The Huskies are looking to turn around one of the worst offenses in the country last year as they enter the Mountain West Conference. The team's focus is on the Sept 5th season at Iowa.
