The Philadelphia Phillies, the Eagles, and the Philadelphia Flyers have all made the playoffs for the first time in 17 years. This hasn't happened since the 2009 season. The last time that happened was in the NFC Wild Card round, the Flyers reached the Stanley Cup playoffs, and even the Phillies advanced for the second consecutive year to the World Series. The Sixers, however, are likely to fade during playoff time due to injuries to star Joel Embiid.
