Nashua Public Health Investigating Infectious Tuberculosis Case Since Patient's Return

Nashua Public Health and Community Services is investigating an infectious tuberculosis case since July 2025. The individual had not been consistently engaged in care since October 2025 and reappeared in Nashua in late February. The Nashua DPHCS retested the individual, confirming he was infectious. The city is working to contain and treat the case, with contact tracing being conducted to provide notification and testing recommendations. The disease, active TB disease, is not spread through casual contact and does not occur all time.
