Democratic Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota was asked about the Somali fraud scandal during a softball interview with Jimmy Kimmel, but managed to evade the question by turning himself and the fraudsters into the victims. Despite this, Walz continued to attack President Donald Trump for using the fraud as an excuse for his lies about the fraud. He also mentioned that his rhetoric, which led to two deaths in clashes with Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, was used to demonize the immigrant community. However, he did not acknowledge the scale of the fraud, i.e., the billions of taxpayer dollars stolen by Somalis.
