A24 Drops Official Trailer for Olivia Wilde's Darkly Comic 'The Invite'

A24 has released the first official trailer for The Invite, a dark comedy directed by Olivia Wilde and starring Seth Rogen, which premiered at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival. The film follows a troubled married couple whose relationship is tested when they invite their upstairs neighbors, Penélope Cruz, and Edward Norton, for a chaotic dinner party. The movie is written by Will McCormack and Rashida Jones and is an English-language adaptation of Cesc Gay’s 2020 Spanish-language film The People Upstairs (Sentimental). It is set to be released for a limited theatrical release on June 26, 2026, before expanding in July.
